Suddenly in Red Bank NJ the streets are at the top of the boro' agenda.

Yes, safety AND parking are trending on local socialmedia. 

Whether the town's recent, poorly compiled bike/pedestrian questionnaire elicits any useful info other than some people feel "uncomfortable" using crosswalks remains to be assessed.

redbankgreen.com has been closely following the council's agenda as usual and this week looks at car storage ... erm, I mean parking... in Red Bank NJ over the last century or so, forgetting that not one road or street in the town was built for cars...

How things work in Red Bank... Yet Another Unfortunate Event

Sadly Monmouth Street's School of Rock building has virtually collapsed after what seems like years of neglect...

That seems to be developers' modus operandi in the town**. What are the odds that new luxury apartments and yet another groovy, fine-dining establishment will emerge from the wreckage for the mayor+council selfie collection? And who knows... even a free lunch?

Personally, I'd settle for an asset and a crying need for the community. Maybe something like a full-service mini-supermarket in this allegedly cool little, award winning, and walkable town.
