I worked for several years in the cycle trade at Halter’s Cycles in New Jersey as well as in my family for 40 years back in the UK, and I’ve seen how fragile the business landscape is for these vital local stores especially over the past few years.
NJ S4834 is just the latest blow for them, along with e-bike owners across the state.
Support your local independent bike shop...
*Other fine independent bike stores are stores are available althoudegh Red Bank lost ours a few years ago... Locally, I've found Shrewsbury Bicycles and Jesse's e-Rides to be very helpful
